About Us
Abbey Medical Practice was founded on 1st
October 1997 with the guiding principle of providing the best possible
quality of service to patients within the total resources at the
Practice’s disposal.
As a partnership of four GPs, supported by a full complement of
professional staff, we have established a solid commitment to high
quality clinical care which is in step with current best practice, but
which retains the values of traditional General Practice. We therefore
strive to care for our patients in a manner which is efficient, friendly
and welcoming. It is our philosophy to ensure continuity of care by not
using locum GPs, and we have opted not to provide extended hours in
order to ensure the highest possible standards of service during the
core hours of 8.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Our move into new, purpose-built premises in November 2007 has provided
a physical environment which has allowed us to expand the range of
services on offer, including access to a number of private complementary
services.
Although we are based in Evesham town centre our Practice area covers
many of the surrounding villages, as shown on the map below. Our
Reception staff will be pleased to provide any clarification which you
may require.
