Requesting Repeat Prescriptions
Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made by:
- Online using our
new secure repeat prescription request service.
Click here.
- Taking your computer printed
repeat prescriptions request slip to the Dispensary
- Telephoning the Dispensary on
01386 761100 (it is helpful if you have your computer printed
request slip to hand when you contact us)
- Posting your repeat prescription
request slip to us
Patients who have their medication
delivered to them by the Practice can also hand their repeat
prescription requests to our delivery driver.
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the quality of service we
offer, we hope to have an on-line prescription ordering facility
available soon – please check back regularly for further
information.
Turnaround Times
Please allow 24-48 hours for non-dispensing prescription requests to
be processed, and 48 hours for any prescriptions which we dispense
from the Practice. However, we will always do our best to provide
same-day prescriptions/medication in cases of emergency etc.
Qualifying for Dispensing Services
Under current regulations, patients who live in an approved rural
area and whose home is more than 1 mile from the nearest pharmacy
can ask for their medication to be dispensed by the Practice. Many
of the villages surrounding Evesham are areas to which we can
dispense. If you live in such an area and would like to have your
medication dispensed by the Practice, please ask the Dispensary
team.
Dispensing Delivery Service
We are pleased to offer a free home delivery service to those
patients who have their medication dispensed by the Practice. If you
wish to take advantage of this service, please call into the surgery
or telephone our Dispensary team on 01386 761100.
Medication Reviews
We review patient medication on a regular basis to ensure that the
medicines and drugs prescribed for you continue to be effective in
treating the problems for which they were prescribed.
Therefore, you may occasionally be asked to see your GP for a review
before further repeat medication can be issued, and your review date
is printed on your repeat prescription request slip. Please ensure
that you leave sufficient time to make an appointment before your
current medication supplies run out.
