Welcome

AMP

At Abbey Medical Practice we aim to treat all our patients promptly with a high standard of personal care in complete confidence.

We use our Practice website to inform our patients of any up to date information or resources available to them. We hope you take your time to browse our website, where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the serviced we offer

Abbey Medical Practice serves Evesham and the surrounding area.  Our team includes seven GPs, five Nurses, three Health Care Assistants as well as our team of dispensers, reception, secretarial and management staff.

Although the Practice is based in the centre of Evesham and has a significant number of patients within the town boundaries, we also cover many of the surrounding villages and therefore have a Practice area which combines both urban and rural elements.

We offer an on-site dispensing service (available to eligible patients) and we provide a delivery service where appropriate

The Practice list is currently open to patients wishing to register, whether they are new to the area or wish to transfer from another local Practice.  If you live within our practice area and would like to register with us, please complete one of our registration forms that are available on the website or from reception.

We welcome your feedback – please fill out a Friends and Family Test on the website.

APPOINTMENT AND PRESCRIPTION CHANGES

(For more coronavirus updates please see the COVID-19 page on the right hand side)

Prescriptions

Due to pressures arising from the COVID-19 outbreak please give us 72 hours advanced notice when requesting a prescription or your medication.

Please do not request multiple months of medications or prescriptions, there is no need to stockpile medication as this will cause stock issues and shortages. Therefore, please order medication as normal, bearing in mind the timescale guide above.

All medication requests will be processed and issued normally and please continue to take your medication as normal.

If you are at home self-isolating due to Covid-19 symptoms, please arrange for a family member, friend or neighbour who do not have symptoms to collect your medications on your behalf.

Appointments

Following Public Health Guidance please note we are no longer offer face to face appointments without patients being triaged first.

Please ring the surgery if you wish to be seen, a GP will call you back from a withheld number either that morning or afternoon for triage.  You will then be booked in for a face to face appointment if needed.

Many thanks for your understanding and support.
