Pharmacists

Our practice Pharmacist is Mr Waqas Ahmed. He is a key part of our multi-disciplinary clinical team. He works closely with our GPs and other clinicians to ensure high quality prescribing services for our patients. Waqas has completed further training to become an independent prescriber and an advanced clinical practitioner.

His work in the practice includes:

  • Undertaking medication reviews for patients receiving long-term medicines to ensure they are effective, appropriate and safe.
  • Reconciling medication following patients discharge from hospital or consultations with specialists.
  • Advising patients on medication queries.
  • Helping patients to manage long-term conditions.
  • Giving clinical advice about medications and treatments.
  • Triaging and managing common illnesses.
  • Carrying out audits and reviews to monitor medication use to help drive quality improvements in prescribing.

Health Visitors

Our Health Visitors provides services to families with young children up to the age of 5 years. They hold regular drop in clinics within Evesham.

 

District Nurses

Our District Nurses are based in the Medical Centre and work closely with our GPs to provide nursing services to our housebound patients. 

 

Community Midwifery Team

A team of community midwives work closely with our GPs to provide antenatal services to our patients.  The practice midwife is Louise who holds a clinic on Mondays and can be contacted on 01386 502323.

We have NHS Counsellors and signposting services available with referrals being made via a GP in the first instance.
